2003 Saugus American Little League stars Williamsport to be on hand to play exhibition game


The World Series Park in Saugus will host a multiple sclerosis fundraiser on Saturday, October 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event coordinator is Saugus’ own Dario Pizzano, a professional baseball player, who was a member of the 2003 Saugus American Little League All-Star Team that played in the United States Championship game against Boynton Beach. , Florida, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Dario has been actively involved in fundraising for MS4MS for the past two years. His mother Traci has suffered from multiple sclerosis for several years and Dario wanted to help raise funds for research and maybe one day find a cure.

Mission Stadiums for Multiple Sclerosis (MS4MS) is a 501 © (3) registered non-profit organization, whose mission is to raise awareness about multiple sclerosis in all sporting stadiums, while raising funds directly for families with multiple sclerosis and for the advancement of research at the Johns Hopkins Project Restore MS Research Center, in the hope of finding a cure.

Former Saugus American Little League 2003 star Dario Pizzano will return to town on October 30 to host the MS4MS Multiple Sclerosis Fundraiser at World Series Park.  Pizzano has been playing professional baseball since 2012.

The day-long event on October 30 will feature a field ceremony, entertainment, food, stalls, raffles, children’s activities and a classic car show. It will culminate with a baseball game between the players of this team of the American Little League Saugus 2003 and an opponent who will be named later.
