Here’s how to watch on TV and stream online – NBC Chicago

All eyes are on Southern California as the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams prepare for the nation’s biggest football game of the year.

Preparations are well underway at SoFi Stadium – home of the Rams – where a team will leave as Super Bowl LVI champions on Sunday night.

The big game will air on NBC with the announcement of Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. CT.

NBC was originally scheduled to air the 2021 Super Bowl, but the network swapped years in order to have both the Super Bowl and the Winter Olympics in February 2022.

For those looking to stream the match, there are several options.

The Super Bowl can be streamed live on Peacock’s premium tier as well as the NBC Sports app and Peacock is available on Apple TV, Roku, PlayStation, Fire TV and more.

As the first Super Bowl will be played in the shiny new SoFi Stadium, Jim Everett explains why it stands out among other NFL stadiums.

While many are undoubtedly interested in seeing the Bengals take on the Rams, star-studded musical acts are always a big part of Super Bowl Sunday — especially the halftime show.

Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg will headline this year.

Other musical performers include Mickey Guyton, who will sing the national anthem before kickoff, and Grammy-nominated artist Jhené Aiko, who will sing “America the Beautiful” before the anthem.

After the game is over, stay tuned for NBC 5 News, which airs at 11 p.m.
