With their season on the line in a crucial Game 6 at home against the Florida Panthers, the Capitals needed their best players to find a way out. Right winger TJ Oshie did just that with just over a minute left in regulation time.

With 1:01 to go in regulation time and on the power play in the final 61 seconds of what seemed like the end of the Capitals season, a wild run in front of the net and an incredible display of hand-eye coordination by Anthony Mantha led the Caps to tie the Cats to send the team into overtime.

The goal marks Oshie’s sixth in the series and his fifth in the last four games.

Oshie now has six goals and one assist in six games played. Mantha and Evgeny Kuznetsov were credited with the assists on the game.
