Four-star receiver Micah Tease is set to create fireworks on the recruiting runway when he makes his decision live on CBS Sports HQ at 8 p.m. ET Monday. Tease ranks among the top athletes of the 2023 cycle and has a handful of big programs vying for his commitment, making his Fourth of July decision a must-see event. You can watch the announcement live in the video at the top of the pageon the CBS Sports app or via your connected device (Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV).

Tease ranks 152nd among overall prospects in the class, registering as the No. 11 player with an “athlete” designation, according to the 247Sports Composite. The Tulsa native is also ranked No. 4 among Oklahoma State prospects, and he counts the state’s Sooners among his finalists for college commitment.

However, Brent Venables and his team have stiff competition with Arkansas, Notre Dame, USC and Texas A&M all among potential landing spots for the fast skill player. Currently, the 247Sports Crystal Ball favors Arkansas winning the recruiting battle, with a flurry of predictions over the past week favoring Sam Pittman and the Razorbacks.

At 5-11 and 180 pounds, 247Sports scouting analyst Gabe Brooks writes that Tease has a “lean, athletic body with some room to add bulk” and notes that he could play immediately in special teams with a long-term projection of being a high-impact player on either side of the ball.

Plays fast with impressive functional athleticism. Displays easy speed with smooth acceleration and a big play top end. Burst hit at receiver and catch speed in coverage. Displays impressive concentration and ball tracking skills with speed, hand-eye coordination and dexterity to perform vertical plays on either side of the ball. The field speed reflects this, if not even faster.

Willing DB tackle with physical tools and athleticism to play corner, safety or nickel. Will need position specific technical work when locking in a long-term position house at the next level. He’s strong and shows good physicality as a blocker and tackler, but added mass and strength will maximize impact regardless of lineup.

If Tease ends up with the Razorbacks, he would be a big boost for their 2023 class, joining the third-highest-rated prospect according to the 247Sports Composite.
