Wichita Falls area churches announce in-person online services

Wichita Falls First Baptist Church changed the hours of worship for their three campuses. We invite you to join us at any of our services.

First Presbyterian Church, 3601 Taft Blvd. : At 10:30 am on Sunday, May 30, Reverend Michael T. Hansen will continue his series of sermons on the Colossians. Sunday’s message is titled “The Orders of Christians” and is based on Colossians 2: 6-15. Sunday morning worship will continue live and in person at the sanctuary at 10:30 a.m. The Church’s COVID-19 protocols can be viewed on the Church’s website, myfirstpres.org.

First United Methodist Church in Iowa Park, 201 E. Bank: Come worship with us at 9 am on Sunday. Social distancing and security measures are respected. At this time, we still do not have any Sunday School or Fellowship events.

First United Methodist Church of Wichita Falls, 909 10th Street: Worship with First UMC Sunday mornings at 10:30 am in person or live on TV-KJBO and online at www.fumcwf.org/live.

Floral Heights United Methodist Church, 2214 10th Street: In person and Facebook Live.

Mount Pleasant: All members are requested to use the Harding Street entrance and wear a face mask. If you are unable to do the service, deacons will be available on the Bailey Street side of the church 30 minutes after the service if you wish to contribute tithing, offer and receive the Lord’s Supper. Sunday afternoon on Facebook, Pastor Castle will have Pulpit Echos and a prayer. You can also use the Givelify app. If you have any questions you can email [email protected]

New Hope Presbyterian: Starting Sunday May 23, we started worshiping at 10:30 am in a temporary location at 1801 TX 11 Loop, Wichita Falls. This is the former site of Christ United Presbyterian Church and we are permitted to use the facilities until our building is completed. We will be able to distance ourselves socially, and we will have masks available for anyone who wishes to wear them indoors. But we can worship together again. We ask that the mask be worn if you have not been vaccinated. Our services will continue to be available on our FB page to those who, locally and across the country, have joined in the past year.

Baptist Church of New Jerusalem, 1420 Borton Lane: New Jerusalem offers meals for those in lockdown, food distribution through the Wichita Falls area food bank mobile pantry, clothing and health checks on the fourth Saturday of each month of 9 a.m. to noon. Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 1417 11: Sunday May 30, SS / BC 9 a.m. Divine service 10:15 a.m. Sunday June 6, SS / BC 9 a.m. Divine service 10:15 a.m., interfaith collection. Board / evangelism / education meetings. Fun and games 4 p.m.

Presbyterian Church of the Trinity, 4403 Phillips: The church resumed in-person worship services at 11 a.m. on Sunday. Social distancing will be observed and masks are encouraged. Services will continue online on the Facebook page.

Wichita Falls Metropolitan Community Church, 1401 Travis (at 14th Street): The Wichita Falls Metropolitan Community Church is open for in-person worship services every Sunday at 11 a.m. Join us at the corner of 14th and Travis for an uplifting worship service! Until further notice, masks are required and social distancing will be observed. The services will continue to be broadcast on Zoom and Facebook Live.
